You want to keep you fragile items in the top boxes. It’s best to keep all your boxes clearly marked and sealed and itemised facing out so you can read what’s in the box without moving them round. You also may want to stack your items in groups so you know all the home items are together and the garage items are seperate.

What about my white goods?2019-10-25T04:46:10+00:00

Keep refrigerator doors open otherwise you may develop an odour inside that will be hard to get rid of. Washing machines will need to be drained of all water so they don’t leak out in your unit. You should also keep the hoses towards the top of the machine.

Should I keep a list of what’s in my unit?2019-10-25T04:45:17+00:00

Your goods are safe and monitored at Notting Hill Self Storage, but it is always a good idea to keep a list of what you have in storage. We recommend using the notes app on your phone so you can update it when you add or remove items. It also makes it easy to search for items where ever you are.
